Bacon Group, Inc., is a general practice architectural and engineering firm founded in 1991 by Richard S. Bacon, who serves as its president and principal architectural designer. Originally called The Bacon Design Group, the firm is located in Clearwater in Pinellas County, Florida. The firm serves public, corporate and individual clients and draws the majority of its work from the public sector - specifically municipalities, county governments, special districts - and public and private not-for-profit providers of services to the community, such as YMCAs and Humane Societies. Bacon Group's design and management staff are all degreed, licensed professionals fully prepared to respond to the varied needs of its clients. Bacon Group, Inc. is a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) with the Department of Veterans Affairs and participates as a small business with Pinellas County's Small Business Enterprise Program (SBEP).
