BACON GROUP RECEIVES OFFICIAL VOSB STATUS

Bacon Group, Inc. is proud to join the ranks as an official Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.  Rick Bacon is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served as Base Architect at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia early in his career.  The firm recently applied for VOSB status and had the designation awarded in June, 2010. 

A bit of personal trivia about Rick:  he hails from a military family. His father was a bomber pilot in WWII and went on to serve as a career officer, pilot and helicopter flight instructor.  Rick's brother, Steve, is a retired Major from the USAF, as well.  Another tidbit is Rick's mother, Denise, was a model for a WWII WAC recruiting poster.
